In April 2009 the Port of Seattle will take delivery of a new Ross Laboratories Inc. Model 960 survey system. The system will replace the ports 950 Surveyor which has been in use since 2002. The Model 960 adds side scan and sub-bottom profiling to the Ports surveying capabilities. Read More
IHC Merwede has received orders for the construction of two large trailing suction hopper dredges (TSHD) and eight medium-sized cutter suction dredges. The TSHDs will be delivered to the Yangtze Estuary Waterway Administration Bureau in China. Parker Hannifin Corporation (NYSE: PH) announced on June 3 2008 that it had acquired industrial hose manufacturer Titan Industries now known as Parker Titan. Headquartered in South Gate California Parker Titan manufactures custom and composite hoses for the dredging industry and other industrial applications.
