Dr. Robert Randall has scheduled the 39th Dredging Engineering Short Course and Cutter Suction Dredge Simulator Course for January 2010 at Texas A&M University.The short course to be held January 11 through 15 is designed to educate dredge operators in the technicalities of planning and carrying out dredging operations. The Times of India reported on September 1 the Dredging Corporation of Indias Dredge 16 had collided with the bulk carrier MV City near the Haldia Port Complex on August 30. Both vessels sustained damage and the Dredge 16 was taken into drydock. No one was hurt. Read More
