Beemac Logistics Opens Pittsburgh Office
Logistics services provider Beemac Logistics recently opened a new office in Pittsburgh, Pa., and is planning to open another office in Houston, Texas.
Founded in 1984 and headquartered in Beaver, Pa., Beemac Logistics is a multimodal, full-service transportation and logistics provider. Its logistics offerings center on flatbed trucking, but it has relationships with all major barge operators and operates a small barge terminal north of Pittsburgh.
The approximately 10,000-square-foot Pittsburgh office will allow the company to expand from 75 to more than 200 employees in the region.
“We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new North Shore office,” said Michael Ceravolo, Beemac Logistics’ chief commercial officer.
Beemac’s motto is “one swarm, one goal.” It says its “swarm” of logistics experts provide cost-effective solutions to transportation challenges throughout North America. Beemac has partnered with more than 15,000 truck carrier partners, Class-1 railroads, steamship lines and major barge lines.
Beemac said in a press release that it has more than doubled in size annually over the past two years. The company recently opened offices in Denver, Colo., and Birmingham, Ala., and plans to open an office in Houston in May.
