Obituary: Richard “Dick” Dunbar

Richard “Dick” Dunbar, 84, who created the website Dick’s Towboat Gallery to share photographs of towboats, died January 20. He began the site as a hobby to display his own photos of boats in the St. Paul, Minn., area. Over the years the well-organized and indexed site grew with pictures contributed by photographers from all over the inland waterways system, along with information about each boat pictured and where the picture was taken. His daughter Susie had been working with him to continue the website.
