Obituary Notice: Archibald Finley Fraser Jr.

Capt. Archibald Finley Fraser Jr., 71, died August 31. He worked on the rivers for 47 years, starting at Helena, Ark., in 1974. He spent many of those years on towboats, but also worked on the steamboat Natchez for eight years. After the Natchez, he began working on overnight passenger boats, including the American Queen, Mississippi Queen, Delta Queen and The Duchess. He ended his career working for the Corps of Engineers on the mv. Mississippi in Memphis, Tenn.
