Tideland Appoints Canadian Distributor

Tideland Signal Corporation has appointed DSS Marine Incorporated (DSS) as the master distributor for the Canadian market. DSS will distribute support sales and provide service for Tideland products to all Canadian customers through four locations across the country.

“DSS is a recognized leader in the supply of safety equipment to the marine industry in Canada and we look forward to working together to serve this important market” Matt Scheuing CEO of Tideland said.

DSS is a Canadian owned company involved in the business of importation distribution and service of marine environmental response and military equipment and supplies throughout Canada. The company is headquartered in a newly renovated facility in Dartmouth Nova Scotia and also operates regional sales and service facilities in Newfoundland Quebec and British Columbia.

“We have almost 20 years of experience working with Coast Guards Navies Port Authorities and offshore oil and gas and see this partnership with Tideland as a natural step in the ongoing development of our company” DSS president Darren Trites said.
