Nelson Joins Supreme Manufacturing
Chris Nelson joined Supreme Manufacturing Inc. as vice president and National Sales Manager as of June 8.
Nelson has nearly 20 years of experience in the floating clamshell dredge industry and was formerly general manager at Rohr Corporation.
Supreme Manufacturing Inc. manufactures floating clamshell dredges and supporting equipment and is headquartered in Stoneboro Pennsylvania.
Nelson will work from his office in Wilder Kentucky and is responsible for sales and marketing of Supreme Manufacturing’s equipment throughout North America.
“Coming into Supreme now I am exactly where I was when I came into Rohr but with 20 years of experience” he said. His goal is to re-brand himself and re-brand Supreme into a major player in the aggregates business.
“Supreme has a (clamshell dredge) product similar to Rohr’s and also other products which gives me more to offer the producer” he said.
Besides their custom built bulk material handling dredges Supreme Manufacturing produces floating conveyors stationary conveyors radial and monorail stacking conveyors overland conveyors bins and hoppers.
He is enthusiastic about the dredges he will be selling which are strong and robust. As aggregate producers themselves Supreme’s owners the Hoobler family build every dredge as if they are going to use it themselves he said.
He had high praise for Supreme’s after-sale service and support.
“They make sure the customer gets everything they paid for and more” said Nelson.
