Nelson Joins Thaman Rubber as Vice President

Chris Nelson has joined Thaman Rubber Company as vice president as of November 25.

Thaman is a stocking distributor that inventories a vast array of products that can ship immediately.

The company is “an industrial ‘go-to’ shop for aggregate companies” said Nelson providing “just about everything”: gaskets fittings valves coatings matting conveyor belting impact systems idlers gearboxes screw conveyors hydraulics hose hose testing electric equipment frequency drives HDPE pipe fusion machine engineering and field service.

Among brands carried by the company are Fenner-Dunlop Gates Parker Flexco Precision Pulley & Idler (PPI) and more than 80 others.

“Our service crew is one of our greatest assets. They can mobilize to a job-site quickly and efficiently” said Nelson.

The company supplies the aggregates power generation food processing and other industries primarily in the Midwest United States but also ships throughout the world. Nelson will be working sales and promotion to “rebrand” the company in a way that will inform the industries of the broad scope of the company’s offerings he told IDR.
