Letter: Why No Tug?
Regarding recent articles in WJ concerning the Dali which struck the Francis Scott Key Bridge: the Dali was not accompanied by a tug. It would have seemed to me that if it was, this situation would have been avoided. Why was there no tug?
The answer is as I understand it—a tug was not required due to Coast Guard rules. Maybe these rules need to be changed.
