Obituary: Jack Lambert
John W. “Jack” Lambert, 93, of Eagan, Minn., founder of Twin City Barge & Towing in South St. Paul, Minn., died December 13 due to complications from Alzheimer’s Disease. He served as Twin City’s CEO from 1952 to 1982, and was a leader in the industry who testified multiple times before congressional committees considering waterway legislation.
An Air Force veteran, his love of military history led him to establish Phalanx Publishing, through which he authored 20 books, one novel and countless articles on World War II air units and air exploits.
