Changes Announced In Osage Leadership
James “Goat” Patterson, the owner of Osage Marine Services Inc., St. Louis, Mo. since its formation in 1999, has announced he is stepping down as president of the firm. He has named his son Mark, who has been with the well-known barge fleeting and shifting firm for 20 plus years—most recently as vice president—to succeed him.
“I’m not retiring,” he said. I’ll be ‘in the wings,’ so to speak, in case anybody needs me.”
Other appointments are his daughter Amanda Doherty, from vice president of administration to executive vice president, and Mike Kessler, from general manager to vice president of operations.
Osage Marine operates fleets in the St. Louis harbor, and in Hennepin, Spring Valley and Naples, Ill.
