Tulsa District Sets Lock Closures

The Tulsa Engineer District has announced several lock closures on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System for later this year.

W.D. Mayo Lock, Mile 319.6, will be closed to navigation from 7 a.m. June 2 to noon June 3, and again from 7 a.m. June 9 to noon June 10. Webbers Falls Lock, Mile 366.6, will be closed from 7 a.m. November 3 to noon November 4, and again from 7 a.m. November 10 to noon November 11.

The closures are for electrical repairs and upgrades.

All work is expected to be completed as scheduled. However, unforeseen issues could require additional time. Waterway users are asked to check with the locks for further information.
