JMP Engineers Keel Cooler Pump For Mitsubishi

JMP Corporation has engineered a keel cooler pump for Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine America Inc. Its new ME5000R provides the massive flow that the S6R-Y3MPTAW (630 hp. at 1,600 rpm./684 hp at 1,800 rpm.) and S6R2-Y3MPTAW (803 hp. at 1,400 rpm.) Tier 3-certified diesel engines need to maintain maximum performance.

Supplied by JMP Marine, the ME5000 series can be configured three ways to meet Mitsubishi’s requirements: ME5000A for engine S6A3, ME5000B for engine S6B5 and ME5000R for engines S6R and S6R2. Rated at 158 gph. at 2,850 rpm, it has 2-inch NPT in and 1.5-inch NPT out ports. Compact and lightweight, it’s 8.85 inches long by 7.71 inches wide by 8.58 inches high and weighs 34 pounds.

Mitsubishi’s S6R-Y3MPTAW and S6R2-Y3MPTAW are ideal for heavy-duty workboats, tugs and push boats, cargo and offshore vessels. Fully mechanical, they’re simple yet powerful engines that are easy to maintain.
