Pushing Hope Charity Tournament Set

Organizers of the 2020 Pushing Hope Annual Marine Industry Charity Tournament to benefit Mary Crowley Cancer Research report the event is tentatively scheduled for August 13–15.

The coronavirus pandemic, however, has delayed the posting and distribution of registration documents.

“We will be closely monitoring and adhering to all ongoing WHO, CDC and state and local mandates and guidelines as they relate to social gatherings and events and will notify you when and if we are able to begin registrations, as the safety and well-being of all involved is of utmost importance,” planners said in a March 30 email to donors, participants, sponsors, vendors and volunteers.

 “Over the years as an industry we have weathered our fair share of storms, floods, high water, low water, grain embargoes, steel tariffs, and the like and have come through each more resilient and more united than ever before. While this global pandemic is a new challenge for all of us, we must face it together as a unified force and do our best to stay healthy and safe.”
