Obituary: Douglas Eggburn

Douglas Eggburn, 77, of Sheridan, Ark., died unexpectedly November 25. He was a former crane operator for S.O.G Construction Company for several projects on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System locks and dams. After the system was completed, he worked for the Corps of Engineers for 36 years as a crane operator, and ultimately as facility manager at the Corps’ Pine Bluff Marine Terminal until his retirement in 2004.
