Obituary: Capt. Jerry Douglas “Doug” Gantt

Capt. Jerry Douglas “Doug” Gantt passed away  from complications of diabetes November 1. He worked as a master towliner and towboat captain for  seven renewals around the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Intracoastal Waterway and ship channels. and operated with great care of men and vessels. A kind and gentle man who was never rattled in his game.
