Obituary: Kevin Jennings

Kevin Jennings, 62, owner of West Point Marine Inc., a harbor service with fleets in Hardin and Batchtown, Ill., died unexpectedly January 9 of natural causes at his residence in Batchtown. He began his career in the river business in the 1980s with Igert Inc., after which he worked at Merchants River Transportation, M/G Transport Services and International Marine Terminals, where he was vice president-sales. He founded West Point Marine in 1995 with the mvs. Mary Fern, Mary R and Teddi B. (It has been reported that switching services at Hardin are currently being provided by Wayne B. Smith Inc. via the mv. Chattie Sue Smith.)
