Obituary Notice: Freddy L. Smith

Freddy L. Smith died January 4 at his home in McCrory, Ark. He was 69. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he received two Purple Hearts and the Vietnamese Cross for Gallantry. He was employed by Wepfer Marine Inc. for more than 40 years as pilot and port captain.  A memorial service is planned for February.
