PIANC Indonesia Hosts Port Master Planning Event

PIANC Indonesia and Royal Haskoning DHV are hosting a 3-day Port Masterplanning training event, October 24 to 25 in Batam, Indonesia. The event will focus on the cost-effective and environmentally sound design and maintenance of access channels. On day one Professor Han Ligteringen of Delft University of Technology will provide an overview of port master planning. Day two will feature the PIANC Workgroup 121: Design and Maintenance of Harbor Approach Channels, which will summarize the working group’s report and provide practical design guidelines and tips. The final day will bring back Professor Ligteringen to share a case study in Indonesia.
