Dredge Yard Delivers Multipurpose CSD to United Arab Emirates

Dredge Yard delivered a multipurpose cutter suction dredge ECO 200 to a real estate developer in the United Arab Emirates. The ECO 200 dredge will be used for maintenance dredging to provide adequate depth for yachts and workboats and for beach nourishment on the artificial and natural shaped islands and beaches.

The ECO 200 dredge is equipped with a heavy-duty cutter head and underwater dredge pump for pumping a high-density mixture of sand. The ECO 200 cutter suction dredge can pump the sand up to 1,500 meters (4,921 feet) and dredge up to 6-meter (19.7-foot) depth. The draft of the ECO dredge is 0.7 meters (2.3 feet). The vessel was delivered completely assembled and launched into the water by mobile crane.
