Foth Companies Acquires CLE

Wisconsin based Foth Companies, a science and engineering consulting firm, has acquired the assets of CLE Engineering Inc. CLE is an engineering consulting firm headquartered in Massachusetts, with offices in California. Foth is an employee-owned, science and engineering consulting firm providing services for infrastructure, environmental engineering and science, and production solutions engineering and manufacturing. CLE specializes in civil and marine engineering with expertise in the fields of hydrographic and topographic surveys, dredge engineering and material management. The acquisition gives Foth 26 offices across the U.S. and Canada. CLE’s offices will continue to operate as Foth-CLE.

Foth CEO Randy Homel said in a statement, “CLE’s waterfront and coastal engineering expertise will strengthen our capabilities. Their East and West Coast presence will broaden our geographic footprint, allowing us to better meet the diverse needs of clients across the country.”
