Northern Lights Delivers 55,000th Generator To Damen

Northern Lights announced March 8 that it has delivered its 55,000th generator to Damen Shipyard in a ceremony at Damen’s headquarters.

The 80 kw. Northern Lights M1066T generator set will be used in a passenger ferry being built by the shipyard.

The ferry will seat up to 400 passengers and depart every 15 minutes during the day, meaning it will need a reliable power solution.

The M1066 generator has an exclusive aftercooler, an electronic system profiler, superior PMG generator ends and is thoroughly factory tested for complete quality control.
