Middle River Marine, Mokena, Ill., the river services affiliate of Chicago-based concrete producer Ozinga, took delivery of a new towboat recently. Built by Steiner Construction Company, Bayou la Batre, Ala., and named the mv. Kamryn Olivia, the retractable-pilothouse boat is 77 feet long and has 2,000 hp. from twin Cummins QSK-38 diesel engines. The boat is equipped with Z-drives from ZF Marine.
The Kamryn Olivia is named after a fifth-generation Ozinga, as are the company’s other boats. It will be christened this spring, the company said.
