World Dredging Congress Issues Call for Papers
The 22nd World Dredging Congress & Exposition (WODCON XXII) has issued a call for papers. This year’s event, April 25 to 29 in Shanghai, China, will feature the theme, “Enhance the Harmony Between Dredging and Ecology.” Topics of focus include: sustainable dredging strategy; environmental and ecological assessments of dredging projects; efficient dredging and reclamation technology; construction technology; beneficial use of dredged material; green and efficient dredging and ocean engineering equipment and more. One-page abstracts containing a descriptive title and author contact information can be emailed to the chairs of the respective regions-the Central Dredging Association (CEDA), China Dredging Association (CHIDA), and the Eastern Dredging Association (EADA), while those directed to the Western Dredging Association (WEDA) region should be sent to both info@westerndredging.org and RcRamsdell@GLDD.com. The deadline for submission is April 10.
