Corps To Hold Town Hall Meeting on Mobile Harbor Dredging

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mobile District is holding a Town Hall meeting on February 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. to discuss the feasibility study for increasing the depth and width of the Mobile Harbor Federal Navigation Channel. The public will receive an update on the project’s status and upcoming milestones from the District Commander and members of the project team. Questions will be welcomed, as will written or oral comments that will all become part of the Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed project. Comments can be submitted by email to MobileHarborGRR@usace.army.mil or mailed to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, 109 Saint Joseph Street, Mobile, AL 36602. The event will be held at the Mobile Convention Center at One South Water Street in Mobile, Alabama.
