FINNISH TRANSPORT AGENCY SELECTS TELEDYNE CARIS™ FOR ITS NEW MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The Finnish Transport Agency (FTA) has selected Teledyne CARIS™ to provide a new bathymetric data management system to manage existing bathymetry and incoming bathymetric surveys provided by external contractors.
FTA will integrate the new CARIS software with existing internal systems for chart production external data sources housed in third party GIS databases and more. The CARIS Bathy DataBASE™(BDB) will be used to allow existing bathymetric datasets to be migrated in to provide optimized workflows for FTA.
Through a 13-year support agreement FTA will have easy and secure synchronization between online and off-line environments of their MERTA system.
Both online and phone technical support is provided with the CARIS™ software as well as training sessions and a series of courses.
