CEDA Opens Registration for Dredging Days Event
Registration is open for the next Central Dredging Association (CEDA) Dredging Days event which will be held from November 9 to 10 at Ahoy Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
CEDA’s biennial event has been the primary international dredging conference in the CEDA region (Europe Middle East Africa) for almost 40 years. Renowned as the forum for industry leaders to discuss and share dredging challenges solutions and experiences it is traditionally attended by around 250 professionals from more than 20 countries.
The CEDA Technical Committee have organized a packed program which includes 22 peer-reviewed technical presentations an interactive session the Young CEDA Pitch talks session a dredging exhibition and a technical visit. An additional advantage for delegates to the event is the opportunity to also attend Europort 2017 which runs at the same time and place.
This year’s programme looks at the continued benefits of sustainable dredging practices and CEDA Dredging Days 2017 should provide participants with a great opportunity to hear the latest developments from leading researchers and industry experts. Delegates will hear from experienced speakers who have taken a novel approach to dredging projects while adding value to nature economy and society in marine and freshwater environments. Topics covered will include: environmental and social assessment and management: predictions modelling and monitoring; sustainable working methods and equipment; sediment management and inland dredging.
