VAN OORD 2015 ANNUAL REPORT

Van Oord reported that in 2015 the company had achieved extremely positive results. The company achieved a record revenue of EUR 2.579 billion (US$2.84 billion). In 2014 revenues were at EUR 2.104 billion (US$2.314 billion) an in-crease of 23 percent and a record profit of EUR 169 million (US$185.9 million). The company attributes these figures to the successful execution of several major projects including the construction of the Second Suez Canal the completion of Luchterduinen offshore wind farm and the fast-tracked execution of the Gemini wind farm. The order portfolio totaled EUR 2.349 billion (US$2.584 billion) at year-end 2015 (2014: EUR 3.222 billion) down 27 percent on 2014.
