PORT OF KALAMA PERFORMS MAINTENANCE DREDGING

Docks at the Port of Kalama in Washing-ton closed from October 3 to 7 in preparation maintenance dredging which is scheduled to last through December 2016. The marina has shoaling to remove to accommodate fishing season and sportsfishing enthusiasts at the docks.

The first dredging started on October 15 at the south end of the marina and guest dock and continued for three weeks. The project team will be working from the south end to the north of the marina.
