ASSISTANT SECRETARY DARCY VISITS CHARLESTON HARBOR ANNOUNCES NEXT STEP IN DEEPENING PROJECT

The Honorable Jo-Ellen Darcy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works visited the Charleston District in October. Her visit included a trip to Charleston Harbor where she announced that her review of the Chief’s Report for the Charleston Harbor Post 45 Deepening Project was completed and it has been passed onto the Office of Management and Budget. After that step it goes to Congress to be considered for authorization and appropriations.
