JT CLEARY CELEBRATES 20 YEARS

In September JT Cleary celebrated 20 years in marine construction. Company milestones include incorporation and startup in New York City in 1995; expansion along the Eastern Seaboard in 2000; and creation of the dredging division in 2005. The company experienced an increase in contract awards in 2010 and unveiled a new corporate brand in 2015.

On dredging trends the company said “This year we see an uptick in federal dredging in the region as part of Superstorm Sandy recovery as well as ongoing deepening of the Port of New York-New Jersey to allow for larger vessels. JT Cleary recently completed channel dredging in Sandy Hook Bay at Leonardo New Jersey for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and is performing maintenance dredging for USACE at Saugerties Harbor New York.” For more about Sandy Hook Bay project see the April/May 2015 issue.
