Liebherr Exhibits at 2014 ISRI

Liebherr Construction Equipment Co. exhibited a range of material handing equipment at the 2014 ISRI Convention and Exposition the world’s largest scrap recycling industry convention held at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas Nevada from April 8 to 10 2014.

Liebherr heavy duty excavators are widely used in the dredging industry. At the 10000-square-foot exhibit Liebherr highlighted its new generation of Liebherr material handlers.

The LH 40 M material handler features the Energy Recovery System (ERC) and is powered by a four-cylinder engine with a 188 hp output. The redesigned L542 Wheel Loader has a 3.3 cubic yard (2.5 cubic meter) bucket with a hydraulic clamp and is driven by a 161 hp diesel engine. The R956 hydraulic crawler excavator weighs approximately 123000 pounds and features a six-cylinder diesel engine.
