IMO Launches New Website IMO headquartered in South Germany launched a new website (www.imo-lifting.com) which focuses on lifting applications. It includes descriptions of each application and the ideal products for each such as the IMO Slew Drive. The application is a ready-to-install lift upgrade used in place of traditional slewing rings. Manufacturers of manlift or articulated platforms truck-mounted light and mobile cranes telescopic lifts crawler tracks or slewable mast can find the information in six languages: German English Spanish Portuguese Russian and Japanese.
The IMO Group was founded in 1988 and has more than 25 years experience in designing manufacturing and supplying slewing rings and self-contained slew drives. The company is headquartered near Nuremberg in Gremsdorf Germany. IMO has partners worldwide including a subsidiary in North Charleston South Carolina and a representative office in Beijing and worldwide offices with more than 500 employees.
IMO ball- and roller Slewing Rings are designed manufactured and distributed worldwide in diameters ranging from 100 mm to 6000 mm in a wide variety. They are used for various applications including construction machinery tunneling and mining ship building and conveyor and transportation systems.
