CARIS Announces Keynote Speaker

CARIS 2014 will welcome Gilles Bessero director of the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) as a keynote speaker at CARIS 2014. The event will be from June 2 to 5 in Brest France. Bessero will close the conference on Thursday June 5.

Bessero is director at IHO where he oversees the IHO technical program which addresses the development of international standards for hydrographic information products and services.

Bessero will join Bruno Frachon director general of SHOM and Wendy Watson-Wright executive secretary and assistant director general of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO as the keynote speakers for CARIS 2014.
