U.S. Maritime Administration Announces Public Meeting
The U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD) will hold a public meeting January 14 through 16 for maritime stakeholders and other interested members of the public. The discussion is intended to gather ideas for improving the nation’s cargo opportunities and sealift capacity while ensuring sustainability.
Speaker and topic proposals for the public meeting’s agenda are requested and may be submitted to MARAD by November 29. The agenda will be released on the MARAD website– www.marad.dot.gov – on December 17 and registration will open that day. Deadline for registration and paper submission is January 3 2014.
