Genesis Water
Rob Krause joined Genesis Water of Denver Colorado a water technology company specializing in dewatering as CEO. The company said it expects ambitious growth after its appearance at the WODCON XX World Dredging Congress in June.
Most recently Krause served as vice president of Sales at GE Capital Retail Finance where he held P&L responsibility for business totaling $1.1 billion in annual sales and $34 million in net income. Throughout his career he has held manufacturing operations roles and commercial leadership positions with GE Capital GE Money and General Electric Appliances. Krause holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Founded in 2000 by Michael Hodges Genesis Water developed patented technology and equipment that has revolutionized the process of dewatering dredged sediment and restoring water to a usable state through efficient cost-effective and environmentally friendly procedures. Hodges who has served as CEO since the company’s founding will move to the role of chief technology officer and will remain active in the company’s day-to-day operations.
Peter Mayr
Liebherr Construction
Peter Mayr joined Liebherr Construction Equipment Company in July as president. He will work from the company’s headquarter in Newport News Virginia. Most recently he served as managing director for Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd. and Liebherr Rental Ltd.
Peter began his Liebherr career in 2001 working at Liebherr-Werk Telfs GmbH (LWT) in Austria responsible for the sales support of dozers and crawler loaders in Spain. Still working for LWT Peter transferred to England and was responsible for sales in Great Britain and Ireland. He was promoted to national sales manager LGB for all earthmoving products then progressed to general manager Earthmoving Machines LGB and LRL and later to managing director.
Charles Wilk
ALLU Group Inc.
Charles Wilk joined ALLU Group Inc. in Tereboro New Jersey an in-situ treatment technology manufacturer as manager of mass stabilization and remediation applications. An environmental scientist with more than 25 years experience in soil mixing and solidification/stabilization (S/S) treatment for civil and environmental applications Wilk will provide technical assistance to ALLU customers in North and Central America on the ALLU Soil Stabilization System for mass-stabilizing land and remediating contaminated soil.
“We are excited to have someone with Wilk’s experience and background join our team. He will be a great asset to our customers” Dale Mickle ALLU vice president of sales and marketing said.
Wilk has his B.Sc and MBA degrees written more than 30 papers and publications on S/S and soil mixing technology and experience as an RCRA permit writer and CERCLA remediation project manager with the US EPA.
Michael Brown
Chet Morrison Contractors
Michael Brown joined Chet Morrison Contractors of Houma Louisana as general manager of marine construction. Brown has 35 years of experience in the commercial diving industry most recently an eight-year tenure as vice president and general manager for EPIC the commercial diving business unit of TETRA.
Brett Blanchard Vice President of Marine Construction explained that Brown’s “wide-ranging experience and leadership particularly on issues related to diving safety make him a great fit for Chet Morrison Contractors.”
Brown is an active member of several industry associations and committees including the National Offshore Safety Advisory Committee (NOSAC) where he is serving a three-year term as Offshore Diving Representative. He has also served on the board of directors of the Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI) for more than 20 years and during that time has served four terms as President and 16 years as Chapter Chairman of the Gulf Coast for ADCI.
Hussain S hah Lee Hiok Liang and Alex Ang yew Boon
T&T Salvage
Lee Hiok Liang Alex Ang Yew Boon and Hussain Shah joined T&T Salvage an emergency response contractor. They will join the Singapore-based team. Liang has will serve as a naval architect; Boon salvage master; Shah salvage supervisor and warehouse/technical superintendent.
Liang was most recently at Royal Boskalis as a senior project engineer where he was actively involved in constructing new dredges and modification and upgrade supervision to ensure compliance with technical and quality standards.
Lee began his career in 1993 as a diver before earning a Naval Architecture degree from University Of Strathclyde (Scotland UK) in 2001. Boon is another trained diver beginning his career as a Singaporean Navy diver before entering the industry via Smit in 2004 as salvage diver. During the past 8 years Alex successfully advanced through the ranks of Smit and Svitzer where he quickly rose from Assistant Salvage Officer to Assistant Salvage Master. During this period he participated in emergency response and wreck removal cases providing direct support to the salvage master with on-site salvage operations coordination and support of the salvage team preparation of project daily reports and risk assessments cost tracking and logistics internal/external training programs making tender proposals for wreck removal operations and mobilizing offshore installation spread for wreck removal projects.
Hussain started his career in 1990 with A.P. Moller (Maersk Line) as a deck cadet officer. He has also work for Pacifi c International Liner Private Ltd. as container stowage planner at Petrolog Naigai Singamore as operation/ warehouse executive and most recently at Smit Singapore as senior salvage logistics and maintenance executive. There he was in charge of planned maintenance inventory control allocation and distribution locally and global assets worldwide procurement maintenance and consumables for salvage projects coordination of mobilization and demobilization of salvage projects.
Jeff Lambert
Knife River Corp.
Jeff Lambert joined Knife River Corp. of Bismarck North Dakota which mines aggregates and markets crushed stone sand gravel and related construction materials as safety director.
The company said safety is one of its core values. “We want to make sure that every employee on every job site — and every member of the public who passes through a job site — goes home safely at the end of the day” President Dave Barner said. “Jeff has been a safety manager at Knife River for the last seven years so he understands our culture our programs and our people. We’re proud to be a safety leader in our industry and Jeff is going to help us improve as we continue toward our goal of zero injuries.”
Lambert joined Knife River in 1999. He has been director of safety for the company’s North Central Region since 2007.
