Limited Leasing Jotori Dredging Merge

Limited Leasing Company and Jotori Dredging Inc. a subsidiary of Fred Weber Inc. merged on May 1 to form Gateway Dredging & Contracting LLC.

Both companies are headquartered in the St. Louis area.
The new company’s base will be in Old Monroe Missouri in the offices used by Limited Leasing and will operate five 18-by-16-inch suction dredges and six towboats the largest being the mv. Atlas at 1500 hp.

Co-owner Dave Bangert a principal of Limited Leasing said the merger “made a lot of sense in these economic times” and results in a “much stronger company.” He will serve Gateway Dredging in an advisory capacity and separately will remain involved with his deck barge rental operation.

The chief operating officer is Terry Bangert; Brian Viehmann is head of administration. The superintendents are Dennis Tessmer formerly with Limited Leasing and Steve Schulte of Jotori Dredging.

The new company’s equipment will dredge from five locations on the Missouri River and five on the Mississippi River said Bangert.
