Ellicott Acquires Rohr

Ellicott Dredge Enterprises LLC has acquired certain assets of Rohr Corporation (USA) including its current backlog and all associated intellectual property together with the shares of Rohr Bagger GmbH of Mannheim Germany. Through a newly-formed subsidiary Rohr International Dredge Co. LLC Rohr will operate as an independent wholly-owned subsidiary of Ellicott.

The announcement was made from the Rohr exhibit at the CONEXPO-ConAgg show in Las Vegas on March 22.

Rohr manufactures clamshell dredging systems for the sand and gravel industry.

Jochen Rohr will join the new company as president and focus on expanding the company’s technology.

Rohr Bagger GmbH will continue to concentrate on the European sector.
