Dredging 2012 to be in San Diego October 2012

PIANC USA and COPRI/ASCE have announced that their fourth specialty conference on dredging and dredged material disposal – Dredging 2012 – will be held on October 22-25 2012 at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina San Diego California. The conference hotel was chosen for its location fronting San Diego Bay on Harbor Island.

The theme of the conference is “Dredging in the 21st Century – 40 Years of Dredging and Environmental Innovation”.  Since it will have been ten years since the last conference held in Orlando Florida in 2002 many new issues have emerged and will be discussed and debated. 

A call for abstracts will be issued in 2011.
