Orion Subsidiary Receives Bridge Contract

Orion Marine Group’s wholly owned subsidiary F. Miller Construction LLC. has received a $27 million contract for a portion of new Caminada Bay Bridge near Grand Isle Louisiana. Working through a line-item joint venture with Johnson Bros. F. Miller Construction will perform substructure work for a new high level fixed span bridge with pre-stressed concrete and cast-in-place concrete. F. Miller Construction will be responsible for constructing the bridge pilings footings columns caps and beam setting.

Onsite construction of the project is expected to begin during the fourth quarter of this year and last approximately 28 months.
