DSC Reports $45 Million in Orders And Building in Progress
As of the end of the 3rd quarter 2008 Dredging Supply Company has recorded a combination of jobs in process delivered jobs and backlog in excess of US $45 million.
Some notable sales include a 20-inch underwater pump/ floating plant barge project that the owner claims will revolutionize river dredging the deepest hydraulic mining dredge to be designed and manufactured in the Western Hemisphere and a new 24-inch underwater pump dredge for the Port of New Orleans.
DSC’s President Bob Wetta said “we will never forget what got us here….listening to our customers and delivering the equipment they want. We are striving to finalize and release our new standard production model dredges but we are still the obvious choice when customization is required.”
