HYPACK 2008 Available Includes New Features

On February 15th 2008 HYPACK Inc. released HYPACK® 2008.

This new version of the company’s hydrographic survey software represents almost a year of improvements to the previous version – Hypack® 6.2B. Hypack 2008 offers a complete surveying package for acquiring and processing bathymetry ADCP magnetometer side scan sonar and sub-bottom data and charting tools for S 57 production.

Some of the new features include Point Cloud editing tool Sub-Bottom Profiling new 3DTV with waves and sky. MrSID and JPEG2000 background charts support.

Some of the new features in HYSWEEP include the new Odom ES3 and Riegl laser scanning interfaces. The ability to log and display Snippets and Total Propagated Error (TPE) have also been added as well as new multibeam editing and filtering tools and a new CUBE with Enhanced OpenGL graphics.

The new version CD will be distributed to all users subscribed to the Hypack Maintenance Plan. It can also be downloaded from the company’s web site.
